Cheese Crunchies

Crunchy appetizers with a delicious cheesy flavor.

2-1/2 cups Corn Chex cereal crushed to 1 cup
3/4 teaspoon chili seasoning/powder
2 tablespoons and 1/2 cup margarine
4 ounces (1-1/4 cups) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine Chex crumbs and chili seasoning. Melt 2 tablespoons margarine Stir into crumbs. Set aside. Cream cheese and l/2 cup margarine. Blend in flour, 1/2 cup seasoned Chex, onion powder and seasoned salt.

Shape into 1-inch balls. Roll in remaining crumbs. Place on baking sheet. Flatten to 1/4-inch with bottom of glass. Bake 12-14 minutes or until deep gold color. Best served same day.
