Hot Bacon-Bean Dip

1 can (8 ounces) red kidney beans, drained
2 slices bacon
1 cup dairy sour cream
1 tablespoon chopped green pepper
1 teaspoon instant minced onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon monosodium glutamate
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon pepper

Mash beans. Fry bacon until crisp; remove and drain. Stir beans into dippings in skillet. Cook over low heat, stirring until all fat is absorbed. Mix sour cream, green pepper, onion and seasonings; stir into bean mixture. Crumble bacon and stir in.
