| Banana-Nut Splits [adult supervision for younger

Makes: 12 servings
Ingredients:
1 package Betty Crocker banana nut muffin mix
1 cup water
2 tbs. vegetable oil
1 egg
Ice Cream (any flavour)
12 bananas
Ice Cream topping (any flavour)
Sweetened whipped cream
Maraschino cherries, to garnish (if desired)
Instructions:
1) Heat oven to 425. Place paper baking cups in 12
regular size muffin cups, or grease bottoms only of
muffin cups.
2) Stir muffin mix, water, oil and egg in medium bowl
just until blended. Divide batter evenly among muffin
cups.
3) Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown; cool
4) For each serving, cut 1 muffin in half and place on
dessert plate. Top with 1 scoop ice cream. Cut banana
crosswise in half; cut each half lengthwise in half.
Arrange banana around ice cream. Spoon topping over
ice cream and banana. Garnish with whipped cream and a
cherry.
