Banana Bars

1/2 cup margarine -- softened
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups bananas -- mashed [ripe]
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups flour, all-purpose
1 teaspoon baking soda
pinch salt

In a mixing bowl, cream margarine and sugar. Beat in eggs, bananas and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; add to the creamed mixture and mix well.Pour into a greased 25 inch x 10 inch x 1 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until bars test done. Cool.
