Aunt Ruth's Barbecue Beef on Buns

1 pound ground beef
1 cup celery-diced
1/2 cup onion-diced
1/4 cup green pepper-diced
1 12 oz. can tomato sauce
1/2 cup catsup
2 Tablespoons vinegar
2 Tablespoons sugar
1 & 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt & pepper to taste
Brown meat - add vegetables and rest of ingredients. Simmer at least 1/2 hour. Serve over toasted hamburger buns. Serves 4 to 6 people.
My Aunt Ruth used to make this for get togethers at my Grandmother's house. Brings back fond memories.
